Mentoring Program

Mentoring Across a Lifetime

The 100 is committed to mentoring and supporting individuals as they pursue goals throughout their lifetime.  Mentoring the 100 Way focuses on building essential skills needed to become productive, contributing citizens.  Workshops for children and youth include topics such as positive self identity and personal vision, life skills, social and emotional skills, moral character, work ethic and lifelong learning.  All Mentoring the 100 Way techniques are developed using S.M.A.R.T. Goals and utilize multiple mentoring relationship models.

In the 100 Black Men of North Metro Chapter, we provide mentoring to youth through a series of projects servicing ages 12 through 18.  Each project utilizes a life skills curriculum that promotes self-discipline and respect, educational excellence and achievement, as well as personal responsibility and career exposure.

The Men of Tomorrow and Freshman Mentoring programs are examples of the North Metro Chapter's mentoring projects.
