Black Men of North Metro, Inc. Announce
12th ANNUAL YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT LUNCHEON
(North Metro Atlanta, Georgia, April 10, 2008)
– The Board of Directors and members of
100 Black Men of North Metro, Inc. are
pleased to announce their 12th Annual Youth
Achievement Luncheon. Scheduled Saturday,
April 19, 2008, 11:00 AM, the luncheon
will be held at the Omni Hotel at CNN
Center, 100 CNN Center, Atlanta, Georgia
30303, (404) 659-0000.
The 12th Annual Youth Achievement Luncheon is
the largest event of the year for the 100
Black Men of North Metro, Inc. (the 100). It
serves as the culmination ceremony for the
Class of 2008 participants of the organization’s
Men of Tomorrow Program. The award
ceremony will include scholarship distribution
for graduating seniors, as well as recognition
of all scholars who have excelled in the
program. The Men of Tomorrow Program
participants will be recognized for academic
performance, program attendance and program
participation. In addition, there will also be
a few special recognitions honoring those who
have made an impact in our community. Our Image
Award winners are individuals who have
been recognized for outstanding contributions
throughout Metro Atlanta. More than 500
students, families, sponsors and supporters
are expected to attend this outstanding event.
The Keynote Speaker will be Albert E.
Dotson, Jr., Esq., Chairman of the Board
of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. 100
Black Men of America, Inc. has more than 100
chapters throughout the United States, England
and the Caribbean.

commitment and hard work exemplified by our
students, staff and host volunteer supporters,”
stated Harold Hamilton, President, 100
Black Men of North Metro, Inc. “We also
wish to acknowledge each of our members who
continue to work diligently each year to
provide the tools, skills and opportunities to
excel. Collectively we work together, members,
staff and host volunteer supporters to expose
our students to the best workshops, programs,
professionals and businesses in an effort to
promote, expose and showcase greatness.”
ABOUT THE 100 BLACK MEN OF NORTH METRO,
INC.
The 100 Black Men of North Metro, Inc. is a
coalition of some of North Atlanta’s most
prominent citizens whose mission is to provide
support and service, combined with improving
the quality of life for African Americans –
particularly African American youth –
throughout the North Fulton, Cobb and Gwinnett
communities. The 100 Black Men of North Metro,
Inc. is one of the Metropolitan area’s
strongest, most self-reliant, African American
volunteer organizations. They are particularly
focused on education, enrichment and
empowerment.
The members of the 100 Black Men of North
Metro, Inc. are committed to motivating and
enabling youth to achieve intellectual
excellence, economic responsibility and
self-sufficiency as positive contributors to
society. As a non-profit entity, the 100 Black
Men of North Metro, Inc. encourage the support
of businesses, foundations and other
organizations that are willing to assist youth
and the community at large. We provide
services to a diverse group of individuals,
particularly youth, ranging from honor
students to “at-risk” students. We also
serve various communities that are at-risk due
to economic and social barriers.

Metro, Inc. will assist us with our programs
and projects that benefit the communities in
which we serve. Thus, affording us the
opportunities to continue to increase the
probabilities for our deserving youth to
